BEYOND EDEN plays a unique fusion of musical styles, incorporating rock, reggae, hip-hop, and disco with

DUB TRINITY came together in Peterborough, Ontario the brainchild of veteran musicians Beau

GRUVORIA
(featured trumpeter from 1998-2003)
Electric jazz... funk... modern electrified groove in the spirit of John McGlaughlin.  This was one eclectic
group led by the equally eclectic Blair Purdy - one of kind guitarist / composer.  Brownman's younger
sibling took over his chair in this group as Brown's own projects became dominant in the early 00's.

ORQUESTA BESTIAL
(featured trumpeter from 1998-2001)
Led by Peruvian vocalist / percussionist Johann Aguirre, Bestial was a salsa band of note in the Toronto latin
community and featured some of the hottest latin musicians in the country.
 

EVARISTO MACHADO
(featured trumpeter in 1999-2001)
Cuban singer-songwriter featuring a 14 piece salsa orchestra fusing comtemporary latin american
rhythms (like tango and flamenco) with traditional Cuban grooves (like son and salsa).
 

YARITZA MARTINEZ
(featured trumpeter in 1999-2000)
Cuban Son singer-songwriter formerly of "Las Perlas del Sol" and relocated to Toronto,
Brownman acted as her Musical Director and trumpet player for a year.
 

PACANDE
(featured trumpeter from 1997-2000)
Led by Colombian guitarist Diego Marulanda, Pacande embodies the rich sounds of Colombian
folkloric music.  Nominated for a Juno in the World Music category.
 

DOMINICANADA
(featured trumpeter from 1995-2003)
For 15 years in Toronto, Dominicanada was once considered the top merengue group in Canada.
Infighting and inner group politics caused the group's ultimate demise in 2004.  There still exists
a band with the same name in Toronto, however it is but a shadow of what this group was in it's hayday.
 

Dr. POP & The NOISE
(featured trumpeter from 1995-1999)
Led by guitarist / singer / song-writer Steve Lukacic, Dr. Pop & The NOISE would feature Lukacic's catchy all orginal
pop tunes played with an all jazz group (including Stich Wynston on drums, Ross McIntyre on electric bass,
Brownman on trumpet, Glen Gummerson on trombone and Frank Pincente on tenor)
