First, Brownman will guest with the electrifiedNINJA FUNK ORCHESTRA, then later in the evening bassist & drummer from N.F.O. will join Brownman to form the BROWNMAN ELECTRYC NINJA TRIO playing Brownman Electryc Trio tunes for a whole new Ninja Funk take on that acclaimed band's book of tunes. ---- The Ninja Funk Orchestra is an indie jazz-rock band who stretches genre limits to create an eclectic mix of what could best be referred to as...let's say danceable, funked-up jazz-metal. Made up of tenor saxophonist Gordon Hyland, guitarist Neil Whitford, bassist Andrew Roorda, and drummer Mackenzie Longpre, the band first emerged as hosts of Toronto’s Concord Funk Jam. The Jam, designed to bring together a variety of rock and jazz instrumentalists, singers, freestylers and DJ’s, created a unique opportunity for musicians around Toronto to experiment with a of diversity styles. |

Brownman will be a special guest with this acclaimed artist appearing on 1 or 2 tunes ---- "Pavlo is a composer, a guitarist, a singer and a recording artist. He composes in a style of music best described as “Mediterranean music,” a music that combines influences of Flamenco, Latin, Classical and Mediterranean guitar mixed together with the Greek Bouzouki. Recently, Pavlo has branched out to sing several songs on his latest album, Irresistible. “It was a natural progression to compose music that combined my childhood studies of Flamenco/Latin Guitar with my love for Greek music and European music in general,” commented Pavlo." |
